The Danube River and the Danube promenade are the main attraction points of Galati-Braila Metropolitan Zone, leading to the development of cruise tourism, which varies from 15th century sailing ships to the only steam power driven ship still operating in Europe, up to high speed vessels, all equipped with the latest technology.
